Calvin Harris (Кельвин Харрис) – это шотландский певец, продюсер, поэт-песенник. Писать он начал в 15 лет, сидя в своей спальне. Успех не завтавил себя ждать, в 18 лет его песни "Da Bongos" и "Brighter Days" были выпущены в виде синглов на лейбле Prima Facie, его псевдонимом тогда являлось Stouffer.

В 2006ом он подписывает контракты с EMI, занимающимися паблишингом, и с Sony BMG, после обнаружения ими музыки талантливого молодого продюсера в сети MySpace. Незадолго до этого, Harris переехал из Лондона в родной город Дамфрис, так как не смог найти себе работу в столице Королевства.

Первым релизом с альбома был трек "Vegas", напечатанный ограниченным тиражом. Также был представлен первый сингл с «I Created Disco» под названием "Acceptable in the 80s", как дань стилю и культуре той эпохи. Трек попал в десятку лучших треков в британском чарте синглов, и оставался там 15 недель."The Girls"  стал вторым синглом с альбома, попавшим в пятерку лидеров того же чарта. Четвертый релиз "Merrymaking at My Place" дошел лишь до 43 места.

В 2007ом Harris работает с Kylie Minogue. Она обратила на него внимание после прослушивания некоторых неизданных его работ, переданных ей одним знакомым продюсером. Сам музыкант говорит, что работа с Кайли была «сюрреалистична, но забавна», хотя в интервью Mixmag’у он сказал: «перед встречей с ней необходимо выпить». Но как результат – две песни с альбома поп-певицы, «In My Arms» и «Heart Beat Rock».

Помимо Кайли, Harris упел поработать в паре с Sophie Ellis-Bextor и написать ремиксы на Jamiroquai, Groove Armada и All Saints.
